Regional policy focuses on three specific objectives: economic, social and environmental. The primary task of regional policy is the optimal use of resources localized in the area and coordination of all the economic and social processes.

The activities carried out within the framework of the regional policy are intended to create optimal living and working conditions for the people of the whole country, equal opportunities and prosperity.

Additionally, the charter promotes cross-border cooperation between regions, which can lead to more efficient use of resources and better coordination of economic and social processes. This can ultimately lead to improved living and working conditions for the people in the region, and greater prosperity for the region as a whole.
