Cognitive dissonance theory
Cognitive Dissonance Theory is a psychological theory which suggests that individuals experience mental discomfort when faced with conflicting beliefs, values and attitudes. This discomfort is caused by a discrepancy between two conflicting thoughts, ideas, or beliefs. Example of cognitive dissonance theory
