An employee is a person employed under a contract of employment, after selection or appointed by an public institution. Employee is not a natural person who performs work on behalf of another person under service contracts or other agreements similar to the commission agreement, such as management contracts, etc.
Employee may be a person who has completed 18 years, but under certain conditions can also be younger, a person who has completed 16 years of age and did not exceed 18 years.
Young person may be employed to provide vocational training to the particular contract of employment with the aim of vocational training for juvenile employee. Such employee may be hired on a contractual basis in the performance of light work.
Duties of employee
The duties of the employee include:
- Do their work carefully and conscientiously. It must also follow the advice of his superiors, unless they are manifestly contrary to the law and the signed contract of employment.
- Observe diligently working time determined by the employer where the employee is employed.
- Observe the work regulations, as well, and the procedures established by the employer.
- Follow established rules of safety, hygiene and fire regulations,
- Take care of the general welfare of the plant and protect his property.
- Keep confidential and protect information that could harm the employer in the event of disclosure.
- Follow the rules of social conduct in the workplace.
- Protect any secrets (production, trade) specified in separate regulations.
